PRESIDENT

  • Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the PTA Board. The President is the main representative of the PTA Board and the PTA General Membership to the school community.
  • Oversee the operations of the PTA including Board Members and Committee Chairs.
  • Works with Board members and school principal to create the PTA Goals, yearly budget, and calendar of events.
  • Acts as a liaison for parents, teachers, staff, and administration.

1st VP/PROGRAMS

  • Responsible for providing leadership and support to Committee Chairs for Community’s programs and after school programs. 
  • Act as a liaison between the event committees and the administration, teachers, and staff.

2nd VP/WAYS & MEANS

  • Responsible for the Coyote Fund (Direct Donation) fundraising campaign.
  • Acts as a liaison between other KES PTA fundraising committees (e.g., Playground Improvement, Spirit Nights, Spirit Wear, etc) and the Executive Officers.

TREASURER

  • The Treasurer is the legally responsible, authorized custodian in charge of PTA financial and accounting needs.
  • Responsible for co-creating and overseeing the budget.
  • Writes all checks, balances bank accounts, categorizes monies received and spent for annual audit.
  • Generates monthly Treasurer’s report for Board Meetings and General Membership Meetings.

RECORDING SECRETARY

  • Responsible for taking meeting minutes and keeping accurate records of PTA proceedings, Board meetings, and General Membership Meetings.
