The simple act of joining the PTA provides instant financial support for our students —and provides you with great discounts! It's also a great way to stay informed about what's happening at school, and connect in meaningful ways with other parents.

IF I JOIN, DO I HAVE TO...

1. Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?  No. Joining the PTA is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer, we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required

 

2. Renew my membership every year?  Yes!  PTA Memberships are only valid for a single school year.  So make sure to renew your membership at the start of each school year.

 

3. Go to all meetings?  No, but you are welcome and encouraged to attend our general meetings and our board meetings. Only PTA members are eligible to vote on PTA matters (such as budget revisions, approving new large programs or endeavors, etc.).

 

4. Donate to the Coyote Fund?  No. While we encourage families (that are able) to donate to the Coyote Fund, it is not required to join the PTA. Basic individual PTA memberships are $5 and Basic Family PTA Memberships are $10.

Membership drive!

We are launching a Membership Drive this year - every class that reaches 100% membership (meaning at least one parent membership per registered student in the class) will earn an extra recess. 

 

Once we reach 100% school-wide - that is at least 1 parent membership per enrolled student, Mrs. Rhoden has agreed to do something silly for our student body - so please consider joining and giving if you have not done so already!

 

As of February 5th - our school-wide parent membership is at 67%! Class level percentages are included in the graphic below.
